Scarlett Charles impressed the judges at this year’s Pony of the Year Show (1-5 April) to take equal first in the style and performance championship with Emma O’Dwyer’s 24-year-old veteran Woodlouse. She shared her win with Jodie Hall-McAteer and Robert Murphy.
After three days of assessment, nine-year-old Scarlett retained the award for the family as last year it was awarded to her older brother, Harry.
