Harry Charles Wins Gold at Inter Junior Academy Team Event at Crofton Manor

Fareham, Hampshire

Harry Charles, Team Little-Murka’s principle rider, dominated the Inter Junior Academy Team Event at Crofton Manor before Christmas this year. Representing Hampshire as one of the youngest competitors in the entire event at only 9 years old, Charles clinched gold medals in all of the events in which he competed.

Charles partnered with Brooklands Bob a Long to secure his first gold medal with the Hampshire team alongwith his teammates, Bethanie Knight, Harriet King, and James Inwood. Competing against several other counties in the 128/138cm Team Event, the young Hampshire riders handled the pressure with ease and grace securing a top podium finish.

The final event of the day was Harry Charles individual competition with Madame Sin in the 128cm class. Charles was not intimidated by his debut individual competition representing Hampshire.

Having competed in several individual competitions prior to this event, Charles was well prepared for a solid performance with his reliable Madame Sin. Together they achieved the top score in the 128 cm class and yet again, Charles earned a gold medal for his convincing performance.

Team Murka is very proud of Harry Charles and looks forward to his much anticipated future as a top Junior British Show Jumper.
