The Team Murka 49er gets race win at Grade 1 International event

Richard and Tom returned to the UK yesterday after finishing 20th at the 49er European championships in Zadar, Croatia. The team were particularly pleased because they got their first race win in a grade 1 international event

We scored an 11th and a 25th in the last two races confirming our place in 21st

Team Murka made their way down to the South Coast to the home of the British 2012 Olympics, Weymouth Bay, to join the UK 49er Olympic squad for two weeks of training

We have a really hectic calendar with around 5 days sailing a week and loads of events including Kiel week in June, the World championships at Lake Garda in July and the European championships in Croatia at the end of August
